It is raining super hard. I don’t have my rain boots. My feet are wet, my hair is a mess. And of course the train is running with delays. Been waiting forever. Not an awesome thing.
This has been my life lately. It has been so hectic. I always make a mental note of posting something interesting about my commute and always forget because of the pace life has taken. Constantly tired and always something to do. My downtime is dedicated to my bubus and to trying not to let everything get to me.
Things are not great at the moment because of work and the drama there. But hoping I can take some awesome time off soon. No worries I’m pretty sure I will keep this updated.
I’d like to launch an awareness campaign aimed at rude New Yorkers, written in a style they’ll understand, so that one day, maybe, they won’t be quite so shitty.
I should note that most New Yorkers are completely wonderful, caring people. It’s just that some of us seem to enjoy the “New Yorkers are assholes” thing a bit too much.
Perfect.

This is hilarious! I can see Herzog doing something like this one say.
Soon.

Ok, so I hate the Yankees. Always have, got into trouble here in NYC because of that. Bought a Red Sox hat JUST to annoy Yankees fans (yes, I am hardcore and can carry a grudge). So, imagine my “JOY” when I got on the A train this morning (on top of me generally not being a morning person) and saw the ad for the Yankees fragrances. Hideously horrible. It should smell like the Bronx, or a group of homeless crazy people. Or failure. Or Derek Jeter’s sweat or Alex Rodriguez’ stash of dirty money. Gross. As Authorbeard says: I prefer going to watch a Minor League team like the Mets.

I bet Herzog would do the same if he was locked out of the bedroom. Dicks.
Waiting in the ATL airport. United Airlines sent us a confirmation email saying that our flight was direct from ATL to LGA. Turns out we have to make a pit stop at Dulles and we probably have to get off the plane to get back into our same seats. How awesome.
We also got here extremely early because we were scared by Atlanta morning traffic commutes. Apparently, it is one of the worst in the country due to poor road planning. Puts my commute in perspective.
I have been so out of touch with my commuter blog. Went to Vegas a couple of weeks ago. It was fun, but to do the Vegas thing means you have to be in the mood and right state of mind to party.
I have started some meds and it has been taking a toll on me. So, in Vegas I tried. Couldn’t get as nicely fucked up as I wanted. Soon enough.
This was the view from our hotel. It was the best part of our room. Sleepless nights staring at the lights and the desert. Listening to the party sounds of the strip. I really enjoyed that.
I have been doing some ground work for Ataraxia Boom-Boom the last couple of days. It has been interesting and kind of exciting.
